At the end of September, we took these four beauties to the Tarheel Cluster Dog Show in Raleigh, NC, and the Mountain Comfort Cluster Dog Show in McDonald, TN. Butler earned his second Certificate of Merit, while Zoey needs five more points to earn her first. At just seven months old, Sage, the youngest, won her first Open Show and now needs only six more points to earn her first Certificate of Merit.

The National American Bulldog Club is pleased to announce that, through our efforts, the American Bulldog will enter the Miscellaneous Class on June 30, 2027. Along with recommending this advancement, the AKC Sport Services department formally recommended the National American Bulldog Club (NABC) as the breed’s parent club. At its mid-September meeting, the AKC Board reviewed and approved both recommendations.

This weekend, two 8-month-old pups stepped into the ring and showed exactly what they’re made of.

Butler earned Best of Breed and finished everything he needed to receive his Certificate of Merit.

Scarlett, his sister, handled by our 11-year-old Junior Handler in her very first time in the ring, earned Best of Opposite S*x.

And what mattered just as much…
The judges took the time to encourage, guide, and support a young handler stepping into something new.

Because this isn’t just about titles.
It’s about the next generation.
It’s about the dogs.
And it’s about continuing to show up no matter what!
