Foster Friday Feature: Matthew!

Weighing in at 72 pounds, Matthew is the definition of a gentle giant: he might be a big boy, but he's full of love. After arriving as a stray late last year, he got the chance to snuggle up in a foster home this summer. He's been winning hearts ever since!

One dog. Five foster homes. Never-ending love. ✨

When Diamond's long-term foster parent went back home for the summer holiday, our incredible foster team stepped up — juggling different schedules, travel plans, and multiple foster swaps to keep her out of the shelter for nearly four months.

And she won everyone's hearts in the process 💗

Diamond has been waiting for her forever home for over 400 days, and she's become a favorite of our staff, volunteers, and foster parents. Her sweet, silly personality makes her a great companion, whether you're out and about around town, hiking on a local trail, or lounging around the house.

With impeccable house manners, an easy-going personality, and a winning smile, Diamond will surely make the perfect best friend for her forever family—she just needs to find them!

If you're looking for a sweet, calm, and attentive little friend, Lulu might be the perfect pup for you!

This Foster Friday, we're featuring Lulu, a 30-pound hound who loves to be a good dog and have a good time! After arriving as a stray earlier this year, she got the chance to live the good life in a foster home where she's winning hearts with her sweet demeanor and goofy playtime antics.

Lulu is doing a great job working on potty training and crate training, and praise and treats go a long way! She has been a polite roommate to the other dogs living in her foster home too.
