Meet Whisper, a sweet, loving, playful girl who has been waiting patiently to find her forever home! This 2-year-old, 45-pound Boxer mix arrived at the shelter last year, and after becoming a volunteer favorite, she is now settled into an amazing foster home. Whisper is eager to please her people and is quickly picking up on the routines and expectations of home life.

Join the Tallahassee Animal Shelter Foundation TOMORROW, June 13th, for a special adoption and foster event, generously hosted by Hollywood Feed!

Adoptable pups from Tallahassee Animal Services will be on site and ready to meet potential new families. You can also meet members of the ASF team, chat with shelter foster parents, and learn more about how fostering gives shelter pets a temporary, loving home to land in while they wait for adoption.

✨🐾Attention, Cat Lovers! ✨🐾

Kitten season is in full swing, and our adorable feline friends need your help! We’re in urgent need of wet food, specifically pate style, to keep our kitties happy and healthy. Any brand or flavor works perfectly (minus the salmon if pawsible - they don't seem to enjoy that type 🙀)

🚨 306 DAYS. 🚨

Geraldine has spent 306 days waiting for someone to give her a chance. 💔

This goofy, toy-loving, treat-motivated girl is full of life! She loves zooming around the yard, splashing in water, riding in the car, and then curling up on the couch for a nap. 🐾💦🚗🦴She would prefer to meet any doggie siblings first! 🐶

The best part? Geraldine is eligible for our new Trial Run Program! Take her home, see if she's the right fit, and decide later—no pressure to adopt.

🏡 Our kennels are full, and Geraldine would love a break from shelter life. If she's not the perfect match for your family, come visit during Open Kennels from 1–5 PM, Tuesday-Sunda, and meet one of our other long-stay dogs looking for a chance.

💔 5 days. 5 deserving dogs. 0 adopters.

Over the last five days, we've featured five incredible dogs in our Adopt Me Already (AMA) series. Despite sharing their stories, every single one is still waiting for someone to choose them. These aren't bad dogs. They're not broken. They simply haven't gotten the chance they deserve.

Most of these pups have been with us for well over 200 days, watching other dogs leave while they remain behind. Through no fault of their own, they've become some of our longest residents.
