Moccasin Stables is a great boarding facility located in the Tallahassee area. We are proud to offer family-oriented horse care and a setting where you can come out and enjoy your horse. Our facility features 12x12 matted stalls as well as a wash rack, large round pen, riding ring, dressage arena, jumping ring, feed room, tack room, lounge area, bathroom, and trail ride area.

Beginner lessons are officially underway at Moccasin Stables! Our youngest riders (ages 6–8) are already learning confidence, balance, and horse safety.
We also host monthly Horsemanship Meetings where kids get hands‑on experience caring for horses.

Maverick’s First Lesson!
Today our newest lesson horse, Maverick, officially joined a riding lesson — and he was the perfect pony. He settled right in, listened beautifully, and gave our riders a calm, confident experience. We’re so excited to have him in the program and can’t wait to see him continue to shine.
