As summer sets in and the temperatures rise, remember these tips to prevent your furry companion from overheating:

💧Always provide fresh water & shade
🚘 Never leave pets in a parked car
🐕 Avoid too much exercise on hot days
✂️ Keep fur coats groomed short
🐾 Check pavement temperature to avoid burned paws

‼️ Watch for signs of heatstroke: excessive panting, drooling, vomiting or diarrhea, weakness or collapse.

If it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for them.
