Tomorrow morning, this precious girl will undergo surgery to repair her broken femur with an intramedullary pin fixation procedure. While she's been incredibly brave through the pain and the healing of her smaller wounds, she still has a long road ahead to recovery.
This is usually a $1,500 procedure. As a nonprofit rescue, unexpected medical emergencies like this place a significant financial strain on our organization.
