Parvo is a very deadly disease and a very preventable disease. Prevention is done by vaccinating against the disease.

I have seen and treated several dogs for parvo in the last month. it is very costly to treat and there is no guarantee that the puppy will survive.

Vaccinate..Vaccinate..Vacinate starting at 6 weeks then at 9 weeks and again at 12 weeks.
At 12 weeks your puppy can be vaccinated against rabies as well. But remember, unless it is done by a liscensed veterinarian, the animal is cinsidered as a non vasccinated animal by the state of Oklahoma
