This is your friendly reminder that our dog groomers are human. We make mistakes! Sometimes tiny ones, sometimes not so tiny. We are working with sharp tools on moving objects that sometimes use their sharp tools on us! Sometimes we have to groom them upside down, while they lay on their belly, or while they crocodile roll. So before you get upset over a mistake, or take it too personally, please remember that if it were easy, you’d be doing it yourself! We try hard to make every dog as perfect and tidy as we can and also get them done before their owners call in a panic that their precious pooch has been here over two hours! So please be mindful of how difficult this job really is. We strive for perfection, but sometimes perfection just isn’t reality. Thanks for understanding that!

Hi guys!! This is your friendly reminder that we are in full blown flea and tick season!! We’ve been sending dogs home with them left and right. Even if you haven’t had an issue with them in the past, we encourage you to treat your pets as a preventative! With all of this grass around, and the sheep coming through our fields, ticks are going to be a huge problem! They carry diseases that people can get also! And fleas can give your pets tapeworms as well! Please keep them treated! If not just for their health, for your own!!

We will be sending dogs home immediately when we find parasites! Contrary to popular opinion, it’s not our job to get bit by fleas and possibly get Lyme because you don’t want to treat your pets! There will be a $25 fee when we find them on your pet. This covers the foggers that we have to use on the shop after we find them on a dog. Topical drops get washed off during grooming. We highly recommend Bravecto or NexGard chewables. Please be a responsible pet owner and keep your pets treated!

Thank you!!

Rachel
