☀️🐴 One Last Week of Summer Camp Fun! 🐴☀️
What a fantastic way to wrap up another incredible summer camp season at Kirsch Equestrian Center!
This week our campers took the next step in their riding journey as they were introduced to the foundations of jumping position, practicing their two-point over poles and learning the balance and confidence needed for future jumping success. Riders also worked on important safety skills, including emergency dismounts, helping them become more knowledgeable and prepared horsemen and horsewomen.
Of course, no camp week would be complete without plenty of trail rides, pony time, games, laughter, and memories made with friends both two-legged and four-legged!
In our unmounted horsemanship classes, campers learned about pony and horse anatomy, nutrition, daily care, and the many responsibilities that come with being a great horse owner and rider.
We are so proud of everything our campers accomplished this summer. Thank you to all of our families for trusting us with your riders, and thank you to our amazing horses, ponies, and staff who make these experiences possible. We can’t wait to see many of these riders continue their equestrian journey with us throughout the year!
