Due to a recent increase in dogs being abandoned at parks throughout the City of Puyallup, our shelter has gone over capacity and we are in urgent need of adoptions. Every single kennel at our shelter is full, which means there is no room for any more dogs to come into our shelter -- so we need the help of our community and rescue partners!

If you have been thinking about helping rescue a pup in need, and have room in your heart and in your home, then now is the perfect time to visit the Metro Animal Shelter in Puyallup. We are conveniently located by the South Hill Mall, our customer service is outstanding, and our adoption process is designed to help you find a perfect match.

**URGENT REQUEST FOR HELP**

Have a business, team, school, or troop looking for a fun and easy way to help? Do a kitten food drive! With kitten season in full swing, our shelter is completely out of wet kitten food and has a critical need for donations from community members or groups.

We are the only shelter that serves the cities of Puyallup, Bonney Lake, Sumner, Edgewood, Algona, Pacific, and Milton. If a lost or stray cat or kitten is found in these cities, it is critical that our shelter is able to house and feed them.

Donations of wet kitten food can be dropped off at the shelter or shipped directly to: Metro Animal Shelter, 1200 39th Ave. SE Puyallup, WA 98374
