I recommend having your pet’s microchip scanned and your contact info updated yearly at their annual vet exam.
Microchips can move around on your pet and occasionally stop working.
Plus when was the last time you updated the phone numbers? And YES I said numbers, plural. Fill all of the allowed slots with the chip company! Take full advantage of this resource.
Include your BFF's #, your neighbor, your doggy daycare (with their permission).
Those numbers are your pet's ticket home!
