Killing them with kindness...
It's National Pet Obesity Awareness Day

We've all seen the fat cats and chubby puppies.
Do they make you smile?
Sure, sometimes they're cute, but in reality... it's a death sentence.
Being overweight shortens our pet's lifespan and that's already short enough.
It can cause heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes and joint pain, just to name a few.
And we know what causes it!
Poor nutrition, too many fatty snacks, not enough exercise... same as in humans.
Let's tackle Pet Obesity together and help ourselves get healthier at the same time!
Eat better!
Exercise more!

🐾 October is National Pet Wellness Month! 🐾

Our fur babies age about 7x faster than we do — so a LOT can change in a single year. This month is your reminder to get ahead of their health instead of chasing it. Here's your pet pawrent wellness checklist:

✅ Wellness exam — vets recommend checkups twice a year, so little issues get caught while they're still little

🦷 Dental health — most pets show signs of dental disease by age 3;
those pearly whites matter!

🥗 Nutrition & weight — the right food for their age, stage, and waistline
(yes, treats count 😄)

🏃 Exercise & enrichment — walks, play, and puzzle time for a happy brain

🕷 Parasite prevention — fleas, ticks, and heartworm are no joke

Preventive care today means fewer scary vet bills (and scares) tomorrow.
If your pet's last checkup is a fuzzy memory... consider this your sign. 😉

P.S. Nutrition questions? That's literally my love language — just ask. 💜

Enhancing the lives of pets, one pet pawrent at a time.

Have you chosen your Halloween costume yet??

How about one for your pet?

Some pets love to play dress up, but many (especially seniors) do NOT!

The noise of material rustling around the ears can terrify some pets.
The strange feel of the different textures can overwhelm them.

And the weird smells?? Don't even get me started!

So try to see if the cute pix are really worth the stress... or maybe consider making a special pumpkin flavored treat for your dog or cat instead!

What do you do with/for your pets to celebrate Halloween?
