When Rip Curl developed significant swelling, infection, and a fever, his owner contacted immediately. While the underlying trigger was uncertain, the team focused on managing his condition.
They monitored his bloodwork and tracked his progress closely over the following 2.5 weeks. At home, Rip Curl's owner was just as dedicated with staying on top of his medications, temperature checks, and follow-up appointments.
At his first follow-up, Rip was looking better, but his SAA remained elevated, signaling that inflammation was still present.
Continued treatment and monitoring ultimately paid off when at his next recheck, his SAA had returned to 0, confirming the infection had resolved and Rip was fully recovered.
