🐾 A Temporary PAUSE — Not a Goodbye 🐾
One thing I have always valued deeply within Endless PAWSibilities Dog Training, PLLC is transparency.
I have never tried to portray myself, my dogs, my business, or my life as perfect. I’ve shared the wins, the struggles, the breakthroughs, and the setbacks with my own working dogs because I believe there is value in being real—especially in an industry where it can sometimes feel like we are only supposed to show the highlight reel.
And in that same spirit of transparency, I feel I owe my community that same honesty now.
While I am incredibly proud to be a professional dog trainer and business owner, I am also a mom to three amazing boys. Over the past year, my children and I have endured experiences that have changed us in ways I am still learning how to navigate.
As a result of the trauma I experienced, I am currently dealing with PTSD, and I have reached a point where I need to temporarily step away from working so I can focus on getting myself and my children where we need to be—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
For someone who loves what they do as deeply as I do, making the decision to pause is incredibly difficult.
Dog training has never simply been a “job” to me. My dogs, my clients, and this business have been such a huge part of my life. In fact, my passion and love for what I do played a major role in helping me continue pushing forward through some of the hardest moments of this past year.
But sometimes continuing to push through everything is not the same thing as healing.
Right now, my family needs me, and I need to give myself the time and space necessary to truly recover—not only so I can be the mom my boys need, but so I can eventually return to the dogs, clients, adventures, classes, and community that I love so much.
This is a PAUSE, not an ending. We will finish with the clients we have scheduled/signed up, but not actively taking new clients.
My goal is to take the time I need now so that when I return to Endless PAWSibilities, I can come back healthy, present, passionate, and ready to give my clients and their dogs the version of me they deserve.
To every client, friend, colleague, and member of this community who has supported me, trusted me with your dogs, encouraged me, laughed with me, learned with me, and stood beside me through the highs and lows—thank you.
You have no idea how much this business and this community have meant to me, especially during the moments when I needed something worth fighting forward for.
For now, I am going to focus on my boys, myself, and our next chapter.
And when the time is right…
the pups will have me back. 🐾💜
With love and gratitude,
Lauren A. Leong
