best feedback that I can get is “we knew exactly who you were and what you would be like based on your social media presence” and like… yeah. no BS, no drama, no optics… just making difficult dogs better and a little commitment to the bit as needed. that’s what it’s all about.

The ability to do nothing and give as little input as possible to encourage problem-solving in the dog is the hardest skill for my clients to learn, and was the skill that took me the longest to confidently implement in my work. What I accomplished with ten minutes of neutrality and patience will create new neutral pathways MUCH stronger than if I had given her the answers.

Have a goal behavior but be open to how you get there. Sometimes less is more!

happy earth day, come on a training hike with coyote girl!
the countless reps of reliable recall, leash skills, obedience, and relationship building we’ve put into her could not fit in this video, but I think this is a fun way to share more of what your dogs get to experience when they train with to the point dog training.

yota has come so far since our program and her family is itching for more! .beauty asked if i could do some trail work during her boarding stay and how could i say no! this is easily the best part of my job. 🙂

we had so much fun. definitely some room for improvement when it comes to behavior expectations of dogs in attendance but all in all, we had a very pleasant time!

being responsive, informative, transparent and thorough are at the helm of every operation here. making sure the human end of the leash knows their dog is being cared for and seen as more than just a job, but as a loved one, is so crucial! it is such an honor and privilege to train multiple dogs from one home, knowing that they are living with my work day to day and are pleased with the results.

January held 30 days of joy with sweetest Charli girl!

Charli came with some loud, unpredictable discomfort around random strangers and kids. Her barking and jumping made everyone on edge and with a baby on the way, her humans wanted to make sure they were well equipped with structure and understanding to help Charli manage her emotions and find less jarring ways to cope.

She is slow to warm up, but with consistency, and the help of my foster dog from , Charli was excited about her stay much quicker than any of us expected.

I worked on her stress tolerance, exposed her to kids in safe and controlled settings, and pushed her limits in a way that helped her feel empowered and confident in the human ability to advocate for her, so she didn’t have a reason to do it herself. We added fair, consistent corrections to behaviors she understood and applied those behaviors and expectations to the wide world.

I think Charli is in excellent hands with and Josh, and they’re going to thrive moving forward!
