I used to be a Great Dane mom.
I had two.

But one of them, Casper, was my whole heart.
He was deaf and I trained him to sign language.
Even my toddler (now teenager) could sign to him

When I had to have him put to sleep, I literally collapsed on the floor and cried.
He had seen me through some dark days- including leaving an abusive ex that was so bad even Casper had a restraining order against him.
He went after that ex and protected me from potentially worse injuries.
And when I became a single mom with 2 kids, I felt safe because he was there.

I have a tattoo on my wrist of a Great Dane to remember him.

When I got Chad, I didnā€™t know expect him to give off giant dog energy.
He has the same aura as Casper.
And loves to sleep on my wrist next to my tattoo.

(My corgi, Betty, is still my baby. Thankfully she canā€™t read šŸ¤£)
