Behind the Name:
-Energy, for many of us with chronic illness, is limited daily. Thus the Spoon Theory was created, a way to describe the life of someone with an illness using spoons to figuratively show how daily activities drain energy. I am a Spoonie, someone who identifies with the Spoon Theory, and my service dog has "retrieved" more spoons for me. I can now live life more independently
