🎉 GOOD MORNING, SHEAR MAGIC FAMILY! OUR NEW SYSTEM IS LIVE! 🎉

Everyone should have received their new Pet Portal link! 🐾 If you haven’t received yours, please reach out and we’ll be happy to resend it.

A few updates as we get everything up and running:

🐶 Daycare & Boarding: These services are ACTIVE in
the new portal and ready to go!

✂️ Grooming: I am currently working on adding all existing grooming appointments to the new calendar. For now, new grooming appointments will still need to be scheduled directly through us by email, phone, or in person.

🎟️ Packages: Everyone’s existing packages have been transferred over! The new system does not show package balances on the client side of the portal YET, but we can see them on our end. If you’d like a list of what you currently have available, just reach out and we can send it to you.

✨ More features are coming! There are several new features rolling out shortly, and we’ll continue adding them as they become available. Overall, this system is much easier to use and, with the upcoming features, will accommodate everything we need in one place.

Thank you SO much for your patience while we worked through this transition! We truly appreciate everyone hanging in there with us while we got everything transferred and set up. 💜🐾

🐾 **NEW SYSTEM UPDATE** 🐾

We’ve experienced a few **unexpected delays** with sending out access to our new pet parent portal.

Unfortunately, not everything transferred over correctly during the switch. Some items need to be corrected by the software team, while others require us to go into **each individual account** and manually match everything up.

We’ve decided it’s better to take a little extra time to get everything corrected **before** sending out the new portal rather than sending it out with a bunch of errors and creating more confusion!

💻 **In the meantime, we can still help you!**

🐶 Need **daycare or boarding dates?**
Email us the dates you need, and we can add them from our side.

💉 Need to send **updated vaccine or medical records?**
Email those over as well, and we’ll update your pup’s account for you.

We know everyone is anxious to get back into their accounts, and we truly appreciate your patience while we work through these unexpected hiccups! ❤️🐾

We want everything to be as accurate and smooth as possible when we officially send out the new portal.

🎉 TODAY IS SOFTWARE UPDATE DAY! 🎉

Out with the old and in with the new! Our previous pet portal is now completely inactive, and all of our pups' packages have officially been transferred to our NEW system! 🐶💻

Our team will be working hard today to go through each account individually to make sure everything matches up correctly. We will also be double-checking boarding reservations and scheduled daycare dates to ensure a smooth transition.

📧 WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

Once we have everything in place, we will be sending out an email with instructions on how to access and set up your NEW pet parent portal!

IMPORTANT: When setting up your new portal, please make sure to use the same information you originally registered with so your account syncs correctly.

We’re getting ready to switch to our NEW software system! 🎉 Thank you all for your continued patience as we work to make things easier and more convenient for everyone!

📢 HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

🐶 Monday at 6:30 PM: Our current pet portals will be disabled as we begin transitioning to the new software.

🐶 Monday overnight - Tuesday Morning: All client accounts will be transferred over to our new system!

🐶 Tuesday Afternoon/Evening: Once we've finished working with the developers and everything is ready to go, we'll send out an email with instructions on how to log in and access your new pet portal.

🐾 **IMPORTANT PET PORTAL UPDATE** 🐾

Update #2 (9/15/26) We are working with the new company and getting it all set up properly and being trained on it. As soon as we get the start date to use it we will let everyone know and help you get started with it.

We want to say a huge **THANK YOU** to everyone for your patience while we’ve been working through the ongoing issues with our pet parent portal. ❤️

Unfortunately, the level of technical support we’ve received from our current software company has not been what we were promised or what we experienced when we first started with them. We’ve been unable to get the support needed to resolve the issues affecting both our clients and our team.

Simply put, **this is not up to the standard of service we want to provide to our Shear Magic families.**

Because of this, we are currently in the process of **switching software companies!** 🎉 This change will allow us to get back to providing the features you’ve been missing, including:

🐶 Pet parent calendars
📅 Appointment reminders
🏡 Boarding reminders
📲 A smoother, more reliable experience for everyone

We know another software transition isn’t ideal, and we truly appreciate you hanging in there with us while we make this change. We feel it is absolutely necessary so we can get back to providing the level of service, communication, and convenience our clients deserve.

***The roads are back open!***

We are currently flooded outside. All the dogs are inside and safe. As soon as the water recedes we will let everyone know for pick up. The dogs are having fun and have no idea whats going on.
