Congratulations to our incredible, tireless, and dedicated volunter, Ingrid Williams, the Nave Law Firm Hero for August! If you work in the animal rescue world, you probably already know Ingrid. She spends her days helping as many animals as she can, ensuring low-income cat owners, colony caretakers, and farmers can get cats spayed and neutered. She has personally helped thousands of cats get fixed and is one of the most amazing people we know! Let's celebrate Ingrid and all of work our team of volunteers do to change the world for cats in our community.

Meet Our August Nave Hero: Ingrid Williams
Every morning, Ingrid Williams gets in her car with one goal. Help one more cat. Then another. And another.
At more than 80 years old, Ingrid still spends her days driving across Central New York trapping stray cats, getting them to veterinary appointments, and helping families afford spay and neuter services.
She has prevented thousands of homeless kittens from ever being born. She has covered veterinary costs herself when families could not. She has never stopped showing up.
When we told Ingrid she had been selected, she immediately shifted the credit away from herself.
"I am just a foot soldier. I am one of many. We are the voices for the ones that have none."
That is how Ingrid sees herself. We see someone whose compassion has changed thousands of lives, and who has done it for no reason other than that every life matters.
Congratulations to Ingrid Williams, our August Nave Hero. Thank you for being a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves.
