When a puppy learns to listen, stay by your side, and remain calm around new people, everyday outings become so much more enjoyable. 🐾❤️

Todd Dugas’ testimonial highlights the incredible transformation his puppy, **Cali, experienced after a two-week Board and Train program** with Off Leash K9. Although Todd was initially hesitant about the cost, he shared that enrolling Cali was the best decision he ever made!

After just two weeks, **Cali learned to come when called, sit and stay until released, walk calmly beside Todd, and stop jumping on strangers**. 🐶✨

One of the most rewarding results is that Cali can enjoy her playful personality at home while still listening when needed. Todd even shared how Cali stays by his side during walks around Home Depot, showing how valuable reliable obedience can be in everyday situations.

We’re so grateful to Todd for sharing Cali’s success story and trusting the Off Leash K9 team with her training! ❤️

When daily walks go from stressful and unpredictable to enjoyable moments together, that’s when the right training truly makes a difference. 🐾❤️

Rose G.’s testimonial highlights the amazing progress she and her dog, **Abbee, made through four training sessions with Off Leash K9**. Although Abbee was a sweet dog, walks often involved pulling, impulsive running off, and stress around other dogs. Rose wanted to make their daily outings more manageable and enjoyable.

The best part? **In just four sessions, they addressed the challenges that had been making walks difficult, and Abbee learned to understand what was being asked of her both inside and outside the home.** 🐶✨

Rose was thrilled that they both learned so much during the process. With improved communication and practical training skills, their daily walks became a joyful experience again!

We’re so grateful to Rose for sharing her experience and trusting the Off Leash K9 team with Abbee’s training journey! ❤️

WOULD YOUR DOG WAIT AT AN OPEN DOOR? 🚪🐾

Freedom starts with impulse control, not just an open door.

An open door can be an exciting invitation for your dog to rush outside, but one quick dash can lead to a dangerous situation. Teaching your dog to wait until released helps build patience, improve impulse control, and keep them safe around doorways. With consistent training, your dog can learn that an open door is a cue to stay put until you say it’s okay to go!

Gracie • 3 year old Mixed Breed✨💜
Program: 3 week Behavior Modification

Meet Gracie, a 3-year-old mixed-breed dog joining Off Leash K9 Training for a three-week Behavior Modification program. Gracie struggles with reactivity toward people and other dogs, fearfulness, and low confidence. She can react to a variety of triggers, pull hard on the leash, jump on people, and struggle with basic manners and reliable obedience commands, making everyday walks especially challenging.

During her program, we’ll focus on behavior modification, confidence-building, leash manners, and foundational obedience. The goal is to help Gracie develop better coping skills, improve her ability to respond to commands, and work toward calmer, more manageable interactions around people, dogs, and other distractions. Every dog progresses at an individual pace, and we’ll focus on building a foundation for safer, more confident behavior. Follow Gracie’s training journey with Off Leash K9!

When training helps both a puppy and their owner grow together, it creates a foundation for a happier, more rewarding relationship. 🐾❤️

Susie I.’s testimonial highlights her family’s wonderful experience with **Amber from Off Leash K9 Training**, who came directly to their home to work with their 8-month-old Shih Tzu. With a patient yet structured approach, Amber helped the family make meaningful progress with their puppy.

What makes the experience even more special is that **Susie and her family learned alongside their puppy**, gaining valuable knowledge and practical skills they can continue using at home. 🐶✨

Having a trainer who is knowledgeable, consistent, and committed to teaching both dogs and owners can make all the difference. Susie was so pleased with the results that her family plans to return when they welcome their next puppy!

We’re so grateful to Susie for sharing her experience and trusting Amber and the Off Leash K9 team with their puppy’s training! ❤️

🐾 TWO HEROES. ONE UNBREAKABLE BOND.

National Pets for Veterans Day celebrates the life-changing connection between veterans and the animals who stand by their side.

Our veterans have given so much, and sometimes, the best support comes with four paws and a wagging tail. ❤️ National Pets for Veterans Day highlights how the bond between people and pets can bring comfort, companionship, and a renewed sense of purpose. From helping veterans navigate everyday challenges to simply being there on the hard days, these incredible animals can make a world of difference. Today, we celebrate the veterans who served our country and the loyal pets who remind them they never have to face life alone.

YOUR DOG ISN’T JUST “FULL OF ENERGY.” THEY MAY NEVER HAVE LEARNED HOW TO SWITCH OFF.

A tired dog isn’t always a calm dog.

Does your dog constantly pace, follow you everywhere, demand attention, or struggle to relax even after a long walk? The problem might not be a lack of exercise. Some dogs never learn that it’s okay to do nothing. Without clear boundaries, structure, and practice settling calmly, they can become overstimulated and rely on constant activity to feel satisfied. Teaching your dog to relax on a designated spot, rewarding calm behavior, and building a consistent daily routine can help them understand that downtime is part of the day, too. 🐾
