Performing surgery on a lion ๐Ÿฆ is rare in small mammal veterinary medicine, but we had the opportunity to get close enough for a picture before sending this little lioness home. ๐Ÿ’–

Okay, so Chula isnโ€™t actually a lion. She is a sweet Frenchie puppy who came in this week for her spay procedure and left making a fashion statement with her e-collar. ๐Ÿ’… There are various options for e-collars, often referred to the cone of shame, but they arenโ€™t all plastic and hard. The importance of an e-collar is to prevent her from licking her incision. So now she can heal properly AND look cute while doing it! ๐Ÿฆ Rawr! ๐Ÿพ

We hear she is doing very well and thought weโ€™d spread some happiness from her cuteness to start off your weekend! ๐Ÿฅฐ
