Receptionist Needed!
Sweetwater Veterinary Hospital is a full service small animal practice located conveniently between Knoxville and Chattanooga in Sweetwater, TN. We are open Monday through Friday from 8am to 6pm, and Saturdays from 8am to 12pm. We are seeking a motivated team player who is excited to bring their customer service skills to the world of veterinary medicine as a front desk receptionist. You will work directly with clients and veterinary staff to provide high quality service to companion pets in the East Tennessee area.
Must haves:
Eagerness to learn and grow to fit the needs of the practice
Computer experience
Ability to multi-task and be proactive
Ability to communicate with staff and clients in a professional and respectful manner
Ability to stay calm and effective in a busy, often high-stress environment
Strong attention to detail and reliability
Team-oriented mindset with solid communication skills
Saturday availability
What you’ll do:
schedule appointments
greet clients and patients
answer incoming phone calls, place outgoing calls
process transactions
maintain accurate patient records using Impromed
provide excellent client service
check patients in and out
complete end of day tasks
Job Details:
Full-time (hours range from 38-40 a week)
10 hour shift (7:30a to 6p with an hour lunch): Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday with some half day Saturdays
Onsite
Hourly pay, paid WEEKLY
Pay dependent on relevant experience
