IMPORTANT SALON UPDATE

After a lot of thought and consideration, I unfortunately have to share that Country Style Pet Salon will be closing its doors… Our last day will be August 29th.

I had really hoped to find an established, trusted, full time groomer, who could take over the salon and continue serving our wonderful clients. Unfortunately, despite my efforts, I wasn’t able to find the right person to make that possible.

Closing the salon is an extremely bittersweet decision for me. Country Style Pet Salon has been such a meaningful part of my life, and I’m incredibly grateful for every client who trusted me with their pets, supported my small business, recommended me to friends and family, and became part of the Country Style family.

Life also threw us a very unexpected curveball recently. I ended up welcoming my baby girl about 4 weeks earlier than she was due to arrive, after an emergency surgery. While her arrival was certainly not how we planned it, we are both doing well, recovering, and soaking up this incredibly special time together. 💕

For my clients who will be looking for a groomer after we close, I highly recommend Halsey Pet Parlor. They are a salon I fully trust and feel comfortable recommending people to.

And while Country Style Pet Salon is coming to an end, I’m not quite done grooming yet! After my maternity leave, I do plan to continue grooming in Eugene at Murphy's Paw. I plan to return around November/December, and I’m happy to share more details to those interested.

This isn’t the ending I had envisioned, but I’m choosing to be grateful for everything this business has given me; the relationships, the memories, the dogs I’ve had the privilege of caring for, and the amazing people who supported me along the way.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to do what I love and for supporting Country Style Pet Salon these past few years. It truly means more to me than I can put into words. Here’s to a new chapter, more time with my sweet baby girl, and trusting that God has something good in store for what comes next.

📣 Walk-In Nail Trim Update 📣

Beginning in August, our walk-in nail trim hours will be moving from Tuesdays to Fridays.

🐾 Our last Tuesday walk-in nail trim clinic will be Tuesday, July 28.

Starting in August, Shawn will be offering walk-in nail trims:

🕘 9:00–10:00 AM

No appointment needed—just stop by during that hour! We appreciate your understanding as we make this transition, and we look forward to seeing you and your pups on Fridays! 🐾

🐾 An Update Regarding Ashley 🐾

I wanted to share a quick update with everyone.

Unfortunately, due to an unexpected family medical emergency, Ashley will no longer be moving to Oregon or joining Country Style Pet Salon this month as planned. At this time, her plans have understandably changed so she can be with and help care for her family.

We completely support her decision and ask that you keep Ashley and her family in your thoughts as they navigate this difficult time.

If you have an upcoming appointment scheduled with Ashley, I will be reaching out over the next few days to discuss your options and get you rescheduled as best I can. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and greatly appreciate your patience and understanding.

✨ We’re Accepting New Clients Again! ✨

Great news! Shawn is back and will be grooming Fridays & Saturdays from 9AM–6PM starting May 8th 🐾✂️

He currently has availability for new clients, so if you’ve been waiting to get on our schedule, now is the perfect time!

Maternity Leave & Salon Update

As many of you know, I am expecting my first baby this year, a blessing I am so incredibly grateful for. 💕

In August, I will be stepping away for maternity leave.

With that being said, I’m very excited to share that I have found a wonderful groomer who will be joining Country Style Pet Salon in July (possibly sooner 🤞🏽). She is an experienced groomer with a true passion for her work, and I will be working closely with her leading up to my leave, mentoring and guiding her as she begins taking over my clients.

My goal is to ensure a smooth, comfortable transition so your dogs continue receiving the same level of care, consistency, and quality you’ve come to expect.

With her joining the salon, we will also be reopening our books to new bath and grooming clients starting in July.

As some of you may know, I have also been managing autoimmune related health challenges, and stepping into this new season of life means being intentional about reducing stress and prioritizing my health and growing family. This transition allows me to do that while still keeping the salon running and continuing to serve all of you.

I truly value each and every one of you, and I’m so thankful for the trust you’ve placed in me over the past three years. It means the world to me to be able to continue this journey, just in a new season.

I’ll be sharing more updates and introducing our new groomer soon, and I’m so excited for you all to meet her. 🤍
