Our President and Co-Founder finally took a break this weekend and climbed on a horse! 🤠🐴

Brandon has been working day in and day out getting the education room ready for summer camps and transforming the birthday room for all the special memories to come at Shiloh. From construction projects to farm chores to dreaming big dreams for this mission… he does it all with his whole heart.

God has blessed this organization with a man who is truly focused on God’s plans for this community.

We think he might make a pretty good cowboy after all. What do y’all think? 😊

Shiloh Communities offers horse lessons through Shiloh Abbott ranch! This past Saturday we represented the farm at the Red Bank show!!! Congrats Maddie Abbott and Julie!! Julie and her family met Maddie through Heart Ridge Farms! We are so thankful for likeminded friends and farms!

We’re the Abbotts. After years in commercial real estate, construction, and investing—and Ashley’s time as a teacher and counselor—we stepped away from hard hats and lesson plans to pursue a dream that felt closer to the heart and more firmly rooted in purpose.

Opening and owning a coffee shop in Columbia opened our eyes to a deeper calling—one centered on people, dignity, and true inclusion. As that vision grew, the Lord led us to close the coffee shop and take a bold step forward to create something even more intentional: Shiloh Trading Co., a place designed to be deeply inclusive and purpose-driven.

From that calling, Shiloh Communities was born—a mission-focused space where children and individuals with disabilities can learn, work, live, and truly thrive. Shiloh Abbott Ranch serves as the overarching homestead that houses and supports Shiloh Communities—a place where life slows down, community grows strong, and the beauty of God’s creation is experienced daily.

Here, surrounded by open fields and farm life, we are building more than a ranch—we are building a community grounded in faith, belonging, and hope for generations to come. We invite you to follow along and join us in this adventure.

We were thrilled to welcome the Unumb Place to the ranch this past week! These young men had such a wonderful time learning and exploring farm life. They learned how to milk a cow, met baby chicks, pet goats, talked about pigs, and so much more! 🐄🐐🐥

We ended the day with a hayride around the property, making memories and sharing lots of smiles along the way. We love creating hands-on experiences where everyone feels included, valued, and connected. 💛

May has been a wonderful month so far — filled with graduations, Central Carolina Community Foundation, and so many moments of generosity and community. We’re incredibly grateful for your support and kindness, and we just wanted to pop in and say thank you! 💛
