When your dog needs urgent care, you're not looking for perfection.

You're looking for someone who answers the http://phone.Someone who understands you're worried. Someone who isn't intimidated by your 100-pound best friend.

Summer walking tip: the pavement doesn't care that it's "only" 77° outside.

On sunny days, pavement temperatures can soar high enough to burn your dog's paw pads in minutes. Before heading out for a walk, try the 7-second test: place the back of your hand on the pavement for 7 seconds. If it's too hot for you, it's too hot for your dog.

Burned paws can cause pain, limping, excessive licking, and reluctance to walk, but a few simple precautions can help keep your pet safe all summer long.

Answer: An earring! 💎

That's right. This pet swallowed an earring, which was visible on X-rays thanks to its metal components.

Foreign object ingestions are something we see more often than you might think. Jewelry, socks, toys, rocks, and all sorts of household items can quickly turn into a veterinary emergency.
