RIZZO × RALPH
Gold Rush Retrievers Winter Litter

Another breeding we are excited to finally announce!

Just like with our other breedings, we went the extra mile — quite literally to make this pairing happen. Rizzo × Ralph were bred September 29th!

Rizzo is our small-framed 45 lb girl with the softest, silky coat. Don’t let her size fool you — she is an absolute missile in the dove field. She loves upland hunting, trick dog training, agility, and has earned two Senior passes toward her Waterfowl Hunt Test Title.

More than anything, Rizzo is incredibly intelligent. She is hands down one of the smartest dogs we have ever owned. She is quick, athletic, driven, and always ready to work — but she also has an incredible off switch. Although she can do all of these things, she is just as happy to relax and chill with us at home. That balance of drive and an easygoing temperament is one of the many things we love about her.

Ralph brings a little more size at around 60 lbs and 24 inches tall, with a gorgeous dark red coat. He is a Hunt Retriever Champion and Master Hunter. His owners describe him perfectly:

“Tall, strong, steady as a rock but very bold… straight line runner.”

That combination of steadiness, confidence, drive, and proven ability is exactly what caught our attention.

We think Rizzo and Ralph are going to complement each other beautifully. Rizzo brings her smaller frame, incredible intelligence, speed, athleticism, and wonderful off switch, while Ralph brings size, strength, steadiness, and a seriously impressive working résumé.

We cannot wait to see what these two produce together.

With a September 29th breeding, we are expecting puppies around December 1st, give or take a few days, with puppies heading to their new homes around late January 2027 at 8 weeks old.

Our Gold Rush Retrievers Winter List is OPEN! ❄️

We are so excited for this litter and cannot wait to share more as we get closer!

REYA × LEROY — BREEDING COMPLETE!

I am SO excited about this pairing and what these two could produce together.

Leroy is a young dog making his debut in the retriever world, with a pedigree packed full of talented, proven dogs behind him. He is currently running Finished and absolutely crushing it! Beyond his talent, Leroy is sweet-natured, super playful, and just an all-around enjoyable dog.

He’s a smaller, athletic male at about 23 inches and 50 lbs, with a gorgeous super-dark red, sleek coat. His owner describes him as ridiculously watery and an all-around wonderful dog to train.

Reya is our 48 lb, 22-inch powerhouse — pure muscle, drive, and brains packed into a smaller athletic frame. She has a beautiful deep red, sleek coat and an impressive pedigree of her own.

What I especially love about Reya is what we have already seen her produce. Her puppies have proven to be little baby seals in the water — incredibly watery, confident, and driven. But they also have that connection with their people that I value so much. They are interactive, eager to learn, easy to train, and always looking to their owner asking, “What are we doing next?”

Putting that together with Leroy’s natural water ability, trainability, temperament, athletic build, and pedigree makes me incredibly excited about this cross.

Both Reya and Leroy have excellent hips and complete health clearances, giving us a pairing we feel really good about from both a performance and health standpoint.

We are expecting athletic, driven, highly trainable field Goldens with plenty of water love, brains, and that wonderful desire to work WITH their person.

Breeding has officially taken place, and now we wait. 🤞🏼❤️

I cannot wait to see what Reya × Leroy brings to the table.

❄️ GOLD RUSH RETRIEVERS WINTER LITTERS ❄️

The breedings have officially taken place, and our Winter Puppy List is OPEN!

This time around, we went the extra mile — quite literally! We drove clear across the country, from the coast of North Carolina all the way to Arkansas, to make these carefully planned breedings happen.

When it comes to our program, we aren’t afraid to travel the distance for the right pairing. We put so much thought into the dogs we choose, with the goal of producing beautiful, driven, well-rounded Field Goldens for both family and sport.

If all goes as planned, puppies should arrive around the end of November/early December, with puppies heading to their new homes around late January/early February at 8 weeks old!

And now…the waiting begins!

I cannot wait to share more information over the next couple of days about these pairings, the parents, and what we’re hoping to see from these upcoming litters.

❄️ Our Winter Puppy List is officially OPEN! ❄️

If you’ve been waiting for a Gold Rush Retriever, now is the time to reach out for more information about joining our Winter Puppy List.

We ate dinner and parked the girls where we could see them, and it was so cool watching everyone’s faces light up as they passed by.

Bring a Golden out during golden hour and you’re guaranteed to make everyone smile.

So many pictures were taken of these girls tonight! 📸😊
