"My name is Shadow... and I thought a cat toy looked like a snack." 🙈

Spoiler alert: It wasn't.

Dr Fabi and her surgical team recently performed an exploratory surgery to remove an intestinal foreign body after this curious feline swallowed a toy.

Cats can be incredibly resourceful (and occasionally mischievous), so if you ever notice vomiting, loss of appetite, or think your pet may have swallowed something they shouldn't have, don't hesitate to give your veterinarian a call.

Here's to a smooth recovery and hopefully a future of playing with toys instead of eating them! 🩺💙

This sweet 6-month-old Goldendoodle recently visited Dr. Thaker and our surgical team for her spay procedure — and she was the best patient!
