I came across this tonight. It made me nauseous. This hideous excuse for a human being is using a "jigger" to shock the horse. That's what she keeps reaching under the pad for and why the horse kicks when she does.

Now think about this horse a few years from now, after being pawned off and passed around and likely labeled "crazy" and arena sour. How do you help this horse? CAN you even help this horse? WOULD you help this horse? Keep this in mind next time you encounter a "crazy" horse 💔 Thankful for the people in the video who stood up for that horse.

Traditional horse training does not fix trauma.

Equine Empath specializes in helping with horses who have been rejected from horse trainers, abused, neglected, and/or subjected to training techniques which created distrust and resentment.

I offer a free 30 minute phone consultation to learn more about your situation and your horses history to assess whether or not I may be able to help. If we agree to move forward, I come to your barn to meet you and your horse in person, see how you interact with each other and I will spend a couple of hours working with you both in your home environment. After our session I will discuss with you what observations I made, we will discuss my feedback and how you felt about the session and we will come up with a plan for you and your horse to work on together.

I also have a very limited number of openings for feral horse gentling and ground training, at my barn.
