This struck a nerve! So true!
🐾 Do you know how many rejections it costs to be a Breeder?
Being a Breeder is not just pictures of cute p.u.p.p.i.e.s and pride in beautiful d.o.g.s.
It is also a whole ocean of rejections that are invisible to someone on the outside!
🕰️ Time? There is no such thing as "free" time!
You forget about weekends, trips, vacations. . . at least for a few weeks. . . & maybe that door never opens comfortably.
You can't go to the movies with newborns lying in the crib. . .
You can't sleep peacefully at night if the pregnant girl is worried. . .
You can't leave the incubator when one p.u.p.p.y is fighting for its life!
There is no "break" in Breeding. . . every minute counts!
💸 💲Money?💲💸 You invest endlessly. . . & then you have Customers wanting a p.u.p.p.y for pennies on the dollar. . . 😞💸😞
💰 Good d.o.g.s are expensive - and very expensive.
💰Clinic tests, genetic tests, OFA tests, shows & exhibitions, travel, food, supplements, C-sections, medicines, vaccines, accessories, misc. - these are thousands of dollars 💵
💰 Income? Sometimes it just goes away ❎️. . . there isn't any. . . & sometimes you are left in debt. . . & with an empty bed. . . shedding emotional & exhaustive tears. . . 😢😭😢
💔 Emotions? You learn patience and pain and heartbreak. . . in your solitude. . . 💔
➡️ When a p.u.p.p.y dies in your arms, and you are powerless. . .
➡️ When a female bitch does not give birth naturally, despite your efforts. . .
➡️ When you have to refuse a person who only wants a p.u.p. . . for little amount of $$. . . & because you see that it will not be a good fit or home environnent for your p.u.p.p.y. . .
➡️ When you sacrifice everything - and in return you receive negativity, jealousy and slander. 😢
👩 ⚕️No routine - you are a Breeder, but also:
🩺 a nurse/neonatalogist
🍼 foster mother
📖 researcher of genetics
📦 & logistics
📷 a photographer
🧹 a cleaning lady
🧠 a psychologist
💬 advisor to their clients that goes on into years
👨 👩 👧 👦 family & friends who truly do not know how to embrace this. . . things can be difficult. . .
- "I'm sorry. . . we can't meet because our Mama bitch is about to give birth. . . & we need to be here to watch her. . . in case she needs us. . . in order to have a successful Delivery."
- "I'm sorry. . . I won't come because the p.u.p.p.i.e.s have diarrhea and I need to be here to watch over them."
- "No, I won't leave them with anyone. . . It's my responsibility."
Not everyone will understand. . . Not everyone will stay. . . 😞
❤️ But through it all. . . it's LOVE. . . & COMMITTMENT. . . !!! ❤️
~Love for our p.u.p.s, love for their lives, love & committment for the development of the breed.
~Love that makes you get up 10 times a night.
~Love that doesn't let you take shortcuts.
~Love that makes babies grow up healthy & that makes you happy & feeling full of accomplishment. . . despite being sick or exhausted. . . & being pulled in so many other life directions!
🐶 A Breeder is not a "p.u.p.p.y person". . . it is a true love & an internal commitment to their Program & to their d.o.g.s!!
This is someone who gives up their OWN comfort & pleasures for the benefit & love for their d.o.g.s.
This is someone who doesn't equate love with money.
This is someone who lives between joy and pain. . . and still wouldn't trade it for anything else.
❤️ Please respect passionate & responsible Breeders. Every day they give everything they have. . . & then some. . . although no one sees it!!! ❤️🤗❤️
