Hi, my name is Serena Sherman. I am the owner of Dapper Dog Grooming Salon. I know I've been on more and more recently, but I have some amazing news. Thank you to all my clients who have been pushing me to do better and better. I want to also come on here and thank Peterson Glass for making my goal a little easier to reach this week and the many others who have given me cameras and support.
I want to keep going with my goal of $8k to pay for the glass to get replaced which I was waiting for the quote to come in it runs out to be $1,247 which were working it down. new equipment such as blades and a quiter clipper, and safer kennels. The kennels will be padded for older dogs to get in and out comfortably, and the padding will also help them get safely groomed on the table without being afraid of falling. I also want happy hoodies for more scared dogs so the noise doesn't bother them in the long run, toys and treats, and nail grinders to gently trim their nails, as that is my main concern. I know this community well.
We are all a very strong team, and when things happen here, blessings come in the form of people. This is not just a goal this has been a dream and a legacy im living on for my mom and dog. Each person who has called and expressed their concerns has been a lifesaver.

Hi Community. My name is Serena Sherman! I am the owner of The Dapper Dog Grooming Salon I wanted to come on here and tell you a bit about myself and my situation. I started this business at 19 straight out of high school not really knowing what I was going to do in life. I remember being a kid that was a bit of a street rat getting in trouble all of the time, with a bad attitude. I started this business wanting to change my life around and hopfully work with dogs like I always wanted to. This community has made me a completely different person from when I started to own this business I completely changed my idea on how to work with people and help their dogs to make them both feel better...i want to make a difference in this town. This week my shop was hit with what seemed to be a silver BB and it shattered my window. With everything going on already I do not have the emergency funds that I need to purchase the window to fix it in time. I am willing to overbook myself scheduling wise if I have to so if you can call 530-249-2318 for an appointment but if you also want to please nothing will help me more right now than if you could donate to my GoFundMe... these dogs safety outside and inside mean more to me than anything... i do not want any of them stepping on glass...i love these babies more than anything in the whole world... my logo and my window alone are already $1,500 i want to improve the shop as well because I wanted to get a better AC in the shop this week before this happened... please anything will work i am stressed beyond the point I can't sleep at night without thinking something else is going to happen.... I'm working top to bottom to make everything work out.
