🐴 HOMESCHOOL FAMILIES and GROUPS—
WOULD YOUR KIDS LOVE TO LEARN ABOUT HORSES?! 🐴

I’m looking into offering a Homeschool Horse Riding & Horsemanship Program designed especially for homeschool families!

The goal is to give kids a fun, hands-on learning experience with horses while keeping it affordable for families — $25

What would the kids learn? Horse safety and how to approach horses. Grooming and basic horse care. Feeding, watering, and understanding horses’ needs. Horse anatomy, breeds, behavior, and body language. Basic riding skills and horsemanship. Responsibility, confidence, patience, and respect for animals and social skills

Each session would include hands-on horse activities, learning opportunities, and supervised riding experiences, depending on the group and available horses.

The idea: • A weekly homeschool enrichment class • Approximately 60–90 minutes per session Beginner-friendly. Small groups for a more personal experience. An affordable cost of $25 per child

My goal is to create an opportunity for homeschool kids to get outside, learn something new, build confidence, and enjoy time with horses without the high cost of traditional riding lessons!

#1 He is a 3 year old 16 hand quarter horse stud, walk trot lope, soft, so brave, I would trust anyone with him. Very willing, so smart, been out on the trails a lot, been exposed to a heck of a lot of stuff. Good with other horses, loads in a trailer and trailers great. Stands for farrier. I cannot say enough good things about this horse! He is definitely my heart horse! Has had kids and beginners on him. Great brain! Asking $20,000
#2 A 6 year old Oldenburg TB cross 17.1 hand mare. Been ridden English and western, started on fences, soft in the face, neck reins, moves off leg and seat, has a soft back up, walk trot, canter. Very talented mare! Sweet, loads in the trailer, not marish, been exposed to a lot, has had a lot of desensitization work done, been out on the trails!
Asking 10,500 but open to offers
#3 A 4 year old gelding 15.2 hands gelding. Walk trot lope, ridden English and western. Had seen the barrel pattern, jumps, moved cows, been branded on, roped off of, been used as a lesson horse, been exposed to everything, no buck bolt or rear, soft in the face, counterarchs, has a good stop, been taking to some shows, loads in the trailer, neck reins, moves off leg and seat, stands quiet, ponies other horses, had beginners on him, more forward but nothing had. Has a baby sliding stop, good with other horses, pulled a sled behind with my sister attached and a Christmas tree. Very cool horse! Asking $15,000 for him
#4 A 11 year old papered gelding. Exceptional horse! Been used as a cowboys horse, super broke, in your pocket, sweet, anyone can ride him. Could go any direction, loads in the trailer, stands tied, neck reins, stops off seat, fancy broke, soft in the face, gives nicely, has 3 floaty gaits, been exposed to a lot, has had kids on him. Very safe horse! Asking $15,000 for him.
#5 a 11 year old mare. In your pocket, very sweet, been shown extensively, good brain, has had kids on her.

3yr old Blue Roan Gelding For Sale 🐴💙
Super nice 3-year-old AQHA gelding with great bloodlines, a goofy personality, and tons of athletic ability! He stands around 14.1-2 hands tall. He’s the kind of young horse that could truly go in any direction with the right person — ranch, cutting, roping, barrels, trail, all-around, or whatever discipline you choose to take him in. He will walk, trot, and lope, with exceptionally smooth gaits and a comfortable way of going. He’s super athletic, willing, and smart, with a great foundation to build on. Stands for the farrier, good for baths, stands quiet while tacking up, not buddy sour, moves out with or without a buddy, very quiet and level headed horse all around. He’s still young and developing, but he has the movement, mind, breeding, and personality to become a really special horse. He’s very calm and level headed out on the trails and in an arena. Great with being trailered to a new place. No funny business when riding, deer and birds can jump out of the bushes at him and he doesn’t have a reaction. Whoever gets this guy it’s going to feel very lucky.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to ride, support, and be part of such a special day! We’re so grateful for every single person who showed up and supported this cause. ❤️
One of the best parts of the day was getting to bring our community together, watch people meet new friends, and see everyone bond over a shared love of horses.
There’s something so special about horses bringing people together who might never have met otherwise. That’s what it’s all about — building connections, supporting one another, and creating a community that shows up for each other.
A special THANK YOU to everyone who donated items for our raffle! Your generosity helped make the day even more special, and we appreciate you more than you know!
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and we are so thankful to have had the opportunity to bring awareness to such an important cause. A huge thank you to Lassen Family Services for the incredible work you do to support individuals and families in our community and for allowing us to host this event in support of your mission. 💜
From the trail ride to the raffle, food, hot cocoa, and conversations shared along the way, this day was a reminder that even a small group of people can make a BIG difference when they come together for something that matters.
