I got this update overnight from Dr Lecher who operated on Fizbo:

Hi Renee! Fizbo is out of surgery, in recovery, and currently doing well. His prolapse was very difficult to reduce and took quite a bit of time and patience to gently break down all of the adhesions in the pelvic canal. Above the prolapse, his colon was very gas distended with minimal signs of motility. Im hopeful things will improve now that the prolapse is reduced. The rest of his abdomen appeared unremarkable. His neuter went well. We will let him wake up a bit more and try to feed him some in a few hours. I put in a purse string post-up just because the colon tissue was a bit fragile, and I want to do all i can to keep him from straining and breaking down the pexy site. It should be able to come out in 3-5 days. We will give you another update in the morning!

Unfortunately we haven’t raised enough funds to cover his expenses. I’ve seen him on many sites where people pledge towards his care but rarely do we ever actually get those. If you can help him please do 🫤
