Happy National Dog Day! Meet Echo. She is a pit mix that was rescued off the streets of Avondale as a puppy & was fostered by our owner Tim, until he found her, her forever home! Another firefighter paramedic on Avondale Fire-Medical named Matt took Echo in & he & his wife Shelby, have given her the life every dog deserves! Echo now lives in South Carolina & is quite the Wanderer of our country.

Nail care is important not just for looks but also for health!

Why?

Having long nails can alter a dogs posture and put stress on their joints causing paint and joint issues in the feet, wrists and elbows. Leading to early arthritis or worsen it if your dog already has it.

Long nails pose a risk for breaking due to getting caught on blanket, carpet and other furniture.

Sometimes long nails can also start to curl into themselves causing ingrown nails, which in turn can cause infections in the paw.

If you have an older dog with long nails it also impedes on their traction causing slipping on smooth surfaces.

That all being said, bring your dogs in for nail trims!! We have the best prices in town with all friendly faces who love providing care for your fur babies! Don’t worry if you have a more anxious dog we can service them as well!

We also accept cats, bunnies, ferrets, and pretty much anything with nails💅
