In regard to yesterdayā€™s post, I would like to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude to all of our loyal customers, whether you have been with us for years or have only recently joined the Molly and Friends family. Thank you to everyone who took the time to share your experiences, offer kind words, and show your support. Your encouragement meant more than you may realize. It lifted morale and brought smiles to the faces of our groomers and staff during a challenging time.

You and your beloved pets are the reason we continue to do what we do. Your trust, loyalty, and support are what keep us going, and we never take that for granted.

To our incredible team, thank you for continuing to show up each day, putting in long hours, working through the messes (sometimes quite literally!), enduring the occasional bite or scratch, and navigating difficult conversations and challenging situations. Grooming is not always an easy job, physically or emotionally, but the dedication you show to the animals in your care does not go unnoticed. Thank you for your hard work, compassion, resilience, and commitment.

At Molly and Friends, we believe our salon is about more than just grooming. It is about the relationships we build with our clients, the trust they place in us, the well-being of their pets, and the team that makes it all possible.

A Statement Regarding Todayā€™s Visit

We would like to address a few concerns regarding an interaction that took place at our grooming salon today and clarify our policies and practices.

1. Regarding the interaction with a client

A new client visited our salon with her cat secured in a carrier, which she placed on the floor while speaking with our groomer. During the conversation, one of our shop dogs returned inside after being outside to relieve himself and briefly sniffed the carrier before being redirected to the back of the salon. The client initially indicated that this was not a concern, mentioning that her cat lives with a large dog. However, she later expressed concerns about dogs being loose in the salon and described the facility as unclean, citing the presence of animal fur on the floor while grooming activities were actively taking place.

We understand that every pet owner has individual concerns regarding their animalā€™s comfort and safety, and we respect that. However, we believe it is important to provide the full context of the situation.

2. Clarification regarding our shop dogs and salon cleanliness

For clarification, the dogs occasionally seen moving around our facility are our own shop dogs, who are accustomed to the salon environment and are non-aggressive toward other animals. When they return inside after going outdoors, they are redirected as needed.

Our clientsā€™ pets are always kept under control, either on a leash or safely secured in a kennel, as appropriate. The safety and well-being of every animal in our care remain a priority.

Additionally, grooming is an ongoing process that naturally produces loose fur. While we make every effort to maintain a clean and sanitary environment, some fur may be visible on the floor during active grooming hours. We continuously work to keep our salon clean and orderly throughout the day.

3. Regarding our pricing and appointment wait times

We recognize that our wait times may be longer than those at some other grooming salons. One of the reasons is that we strive to offer some of the most competitive grooming rates in the Valley and have multiple groomers which means we have a lot of animals that are booked at the same time. We understand that pet care can be a significant financial responsibility, and we genuinely want to help families maintain their petsā€™ grooming needs without placing unnecessary strain on their budgets.

Our pricing reflects our commitment to making grooming services more accessible to our community, and we work hard to balance affordability with quality care and attention for every pet.

We welcome constructive feedback and understand that our salon may not be the right fit for every client. However, we ask that concerns be communicated fairly and that our team, facility, and animals be represented accurately.
