I was eating some ice cream while watching the dogs outside, had some very interested beggars. Sorry pups, dairy free Ice cream is too expensive to share 🤣 they got their fill on fresh green beans from the garden today though!

Happy Independence Day!!

We hope everyone has a fun and safe 4th of July! Make sure to keep your pups secure in the house, fireworks can be very loud and scary to them.

And just like that we went from 8 pups down to 2. They were all so happy to meet their families this weekend (and this morning). Gidget and Bindi have a little extra time here with us so their go home pictures will be posted when they leave. It’s gotten extra quiet here and as much as we always miss their little faces and personalities when they leave, the quiet and less hectic days are very welcomed after 8 weeks of chaos.

Skylark x Kenai ‘Days of the Week’ litter

They did so good at the vet! The heaviest pup was 11lbs and the smallest was 7lbs. The whole vet crew loved some puppy cuddles. The pups loved the squeeze cheese that they got for getting their vaccine.

Crazy to think that they start leaving tomorrow!

For any of the owners who don’t know yet, we have a Facebook group ‘Black Oak Families’ where you can ask questions or share updates! We love seeing picture updates of the pups throughout their lives.

Skylark x Kenai ‘Days Of The Week’ litter

Photo dump of these babies from today! I can’t believe they already start to leave on this Saturday! It’s definitely going to be quiet without them here but we can’t wait to see them in their new homes and thriving with their families.

Watching them play is one of my favorite things! Every litter always loves crinkle toys, even if this litter already deflated the turtles head 😂
