“Hi! Meat here!! I’m getting so close to being able to find my fur ever home!!! Hannah says just a few more weeks!”
Hello hello!!! Ms. Meat has an appointment to be spayed on the 23rd and after her recovery I’ll be ready to start scheduling meet and greets!
Meat is about a year and half old, no health issues that I know of. I’ve had her to the vet twice and she’s up to date on vaccinations and has been given a year dose of pro heart!
Meat came to me from a house where she was receiving no training and no socialization. She was so terrified upon meeting me and Duane that she had some pretty big outbursts that honestly had me questioning her future. With time and patience and a little training she’s come SO FAR! She’s still a little weary of strangers and doesn’t like to be approached on leash but once she’s been properly introduced she’s an awesome dog.
While she has come a long way, she still has a long way to go. Meat really packs a punch and has no idea how big she is. Her brain is a million miles an hour and she can absolutely be a menace but at the same time she is the biggest sweetheart. She needs someone who understands the breed and also someone who is confident handling a not so confident dog in certain public spaces. She needs someone who’s willing to show her the world and not just lock her in a backyard. If you can handle her she’s a very rewarding dog to work with but she absolutely needs a good leader. Someone to guide her through those uncertain moments when she’s in a new public space.
I’ve had such an amazing time learning her and watching her get accustomed to outings and learning new things. I’m not gonna let this dog go to just anyone. She’s looking for her soulmate in human form and I don’t take helping her find that lightly at all.
I could place her in a home with other dogs but I prefer her be the only one. While she’s doing good with us around other dogs we are trained professionals and we do this everyday. We know what it means to never relax when the dogs are out. I don’t expect regular people to live like that.
She’s decent with kids but must be monitored 24/7. No babies.
She’s crate trained so you can put her up when the kids are being wild or if you just need her out of the way for safety.
She’s not terrible with cats but again, I’m a professional. Unless you’re ON IT and the cats have adequate hiding space and you’re willing to crate her when you leave the house I will not place her in a home with cats.
She’s been a pleasure to groom! I can do her nails, ears, and bath in about 20 minutes. No fight no fuss. Just be prepared for ZOOMIES AFTER. If you do it home.
Additionally to whoever ends up with her, I’d like to offer to put the two of you through the 6 week awesome dog package at no cost. You’ll learn how to handle her on leash, you’ll learn all her commands, and you’ll learn how to correct her on the occasion she decides to ignore her commands. We will provide you with all the collars needed, a place mat, and the guarantee that for the rest of this dogs life I will help you with any struggles the two of you face with training and behavior. I’d also like to offer grooming for free for life. Whenever you want bring her back to me and I’ll give her a whole spa treatment. I’m also offering pet sitting at an extremely discounted rate if ever you’d need to travel without her. Like $10 a night, can’t beat it.
PASS THE WORD AND LETS FIND MEAT HER FUR EVER PEOPLE!!!!!!
After adoption if things do not work out SHE IS TO COME BACK TO ME no questions asked. I took this dog so she wouldn’t end up in county or some crowded rescue somewhere. If you change your mind I couldn’t care less and I won’t ask for anything other than her collars and place mat back. I just want this dog to stay OUT OF FACILITIES. She’ll turn into a beast in there. So if you take her and then decide she’s too much just call me and I’ll come get her HAPPILY. 🙏🏻
