When people say, "Oh, you own horses?"

Me: "Yep. I don't like sleep. I enjoy surprise vet bills, solving problems in below-zero temperatures, spending$1000's in a day, hours hauling hay, treating random injuries, and driving unforeseen distances... all before breakfast."

But honestly? I wouldn't trade this life for the world. The early mornings, the hard work, the lessons, and the bond with these incredible animals make every challenge worth it. ā¤ļø
