🐈Cats are smart, sweet, and full of personality - but are you understanding your furry friends behavior how they really mean it? Here are some telltale signs that your feline friends are trying to communicate with you! ❤️
😸Stress can affect cats in many ways, but common signs can be a stiff, arched back with pointy fur along their back. This can signify that they feel like they are in danger, or feel uneasy about something. Widened eyes and pinned back ears can also be a telltale sign of fear or stress, followed with yowling or hissing. If your cats feel stressed out, afraid, or angry, typically these signs will show more in their movements.
😿Cats hide their pain exceptionally well, which may make it harder to know when they're in pain. This can show through hiding under furniture, in dark spaces, and even in the bathtub. Enclosed, dark spaces keep them calm - which is a common sign that something is wrong. This can also lead to lack of appetite, an inconsistent schedule, and even sudden aggression. If you see any of these signs showing up with your cat, contact your veterinarian immediately.
😻Cats are typically happy, easygoing creatures, and have varying ways of showing their joy. Whether it be purring, slow blinking, loafing, or even love bites, they can show their affection and appreciation to their owner in plenty of ways. Most cats love physical touch from the people they love, and will typically rub against your legs, roll on their backs, and even lick your hand as signs of affection. All of these are signs that they are content and feel safe around you.
⭐If you notice any signs of lethargy, inappetence, constipation, and straining to urinate, this may be a sign of an urgent issue, contact your veterinarian immediately to ensure that your feline friend is happy and healthy!
