Urgent need of a Foster home or Adopter for Sunshine.

Sunshine is currently living in a Veterinary Clinic and desperately needs a foster or a doctor as soon as possible!! Please like and share this post!

Sunshine is a lab mix and she is 5 years old and is spayed up to date with vaccines social loves to go for walks loves to play and has obedience training and crate training.

We are very sad that her owner has become ill and cannot care for her at this time. The toughest situation is when you cannot care for your pet and have to do what's best for your dog. 🥺

Tilly the 8 month Old Aussie start school 10 days ago! One of a big goals is training her to understand collar pressure to cue a behavior such sit- down- stand- back up. Training your dog to respond appropriately to collar pressure helps to reduce stress when they feel restraint from the collar in situations that make them uncomfortable- such as approaching dogs or people on leash.

Taz and Bonnie have a very soft spoken owner- no problem! We are training them to recall to a dog whistle so when they are off leash outside she can call them to come.

Rosie and Susan are training their basic commands indoors and learning how to train stay. Rosie is a rescue and is a timid dog. On leash she barks ar people and dogs. It took Rosie about 6 lessons in her home to train the basic commands and begin our leash training exercises for her leash reactivity behaviors. Now we are doing all lessons outdoors to train her to walk nicely on leash around people and dogs.

My heart breaks for the dogs labeled as “treat trained” when, in reality, the problem isn’t positive reinforcement—it’s a misunderstanding of how learning works. Reinforcement isn’t bribery. When used correctly, it builds confidence, trust, and reliable behavior that lasts. The more we educate owners on the science behind training, the more dogs get the chance they deserve.
