These babies are coming up on Selection Week, and the most absurd part?!

ONLY 2 out of 8 puppies have been reserved!! 🤯

Rosie × Bear gave us an absolutely beautiful crew of Medium Goldendoodles expected to mature around 35–45 lbs. And if you’ve been following along, you already know how much we LOVE this pairing! 🐾❤️

🍂 OCTOBER IS ONE OF THE BEST TIMES TO BRING HOME A PUPPY! 🍂

The weather is cooling down, you have plenty of time to work on potty training and routines before winter hits, AND you get your new baby settled into the family before the craziness of the holidays begins! 🎃➡️🦃➡️🎄

Remember—we don’t pick puppies based on pictures alone! We wait until around 5–6 weeks so personalities and temperaments have time to develop. That helps us guide each family toward the puppy that is truly the best fit for their home. ❤️

📄 PAPERED DESIGNER BREEDS! 🐾

One question we hear from time to time is…

“Do your puppies come with papers?”

Here’s the thing—Doodles are designer breeds, meaning they’re a combination of two breeds. Because of that, they typically don’t come with traditional registration papers like a purebred dog would.

Our Poodles are registered and papered, and we keep detailed records on the dogs and bloodlines within our breeding program. 🧬

But every once in a while, you’ll find a breeder who has gone the extra mile to have their designer-breed puppies registered as well. This is more commonly possible with F1 and F1b generations because their parentage and lines can be more easily documented.

Well… BCD has some BIG NEWS! 🎉

🐾 Moving forward, puppies produced at BCD from Bear or Nana will come with PAPERS! 📄

Bear and Nana are siblings, and we are incredibly proud of the lines these two bring into our program. Being able to offer registration paperwork with their puppies is just one more way we can provide our families with documentation of where their puppy comes from.

Does having papers make a puppy healthier or give them a better temperament? No. Those things come from responsible breeding practices, health testing, thoughtful pairings, proper raising and selecting breeding dogs for the RIGHT reasons.

But we’re pretty excited to add this extra piece of documentation for our BCD families! 🤎🐾

Happy Mail! 📬📦🐾

I was in the nursery working with the babies while a few of the Mamas were outside. All of a sudden, they got REALLY bossy! 😂

I checked on them. Checked the cameras. 👀

Y’all… it was just my mailman. 🤦🏼‍♀️📫

While I kept working with the babies, I thought, “What in the world did I order that he couldn’t leave in the mailbox?!” 🤔😂

I finally opened the door and there was a BIG box from VICTOR! 📦🐾

We partnered with VICTOR Super Premium Pet Food this summer through their Breeder Program, and they surprised us with Puppy Packs for our babies to take home in their BCD Swag Bags! 🥹❤️

How fun is that?!

And let me tell you something about my crew… if my dogs are barking, I know something is up! 😂

Our dogs are trained not to bark just because someone walks by or they hear a random noise. Excessive, unnecessary barking isn’t something we tolerate at BCD. So when the whole crew starts telling me, “MOM! SOMEONE IS HERE!”… I listen. 😂

Turns out they were just making sure I didn’t miss our Happy Mail! 📬🐾

My crew takes protecting their home, their Mamas, and those babies very seriously. 🏡❤️

First, THANK YOU to my Waitlist Families for patiently waiting for these pictures! 🥰 I wanted to wait just a couple extra days so we could get more of those sweet little eyes 👀 OPEN!

Have you ever heard the saying…

Welllll… Honey’s babies are rocking the most BEAUTIFUL shades of deep red ❤️ and Strawberry Blonde 🍓 — and I am absolutely obsessed!

Right now, these little Sweet Treats are still pretty sleepy. 💤 They aren’t doing a whole lot just yet besides eating, sleeping, growing, and looking adorable!

But just WAIT until next week! 😍 Once those eyes are fully open and they start waddling around, their little personalities really start coming to life!

🎓🐾 TWO More BCD Kiddos Have Graduated!! 🐾🎓

Two more Brunsman Country Doodles kiddos have officially graduated from Basic Obedience Training at Dog Theory University!! 👏🏼👏🏼

We LOVE seeing our families put in the work with their pups! ❤️

Did you know that BCD families receive special discounted rates at Dog Theory University? It’s just one of the many resources we provide our families after their puppy goes home.

As breeders, we work incredibly hard to give every puppy the BEST possible start—early socialization, crate training, potty training foundations, grooming exposure, temperament evaluations, and so much more.

But here’s the important part… 👇🏼

We can give them the foundation, but YOU have to continue building on it.

Once your puppy goes home, it becomes the owner’s responsibility to continue training, provide structure, set boundaries, and give them the guidance they need to become the amazing adult dog they’re capable of being. 🐾

A well-bred puppy still needs a committed owner. Genetics + a great start + consistent training = the whole package. 👏🏼

We’re SO proud of these two BCD kiddos AND their families for putting in the work! 🎓❤️

THIS. This right here is why I am so strict about our program. 👏🏼

This is why I have high standards.
This is why I don’t cut corners.
And this is why our puppies cost what they do.

Responsible breeding has SO much more to it than putting two cute dogs together and having puppies.

It’s health testing. Genetics. Structure. Temperament. Veterinary care. Proper nutrition. Sanitation. Early development. Socialization. Training. Preventatives. Grooming exposure. Education. And countless hours spent making sure we are producing healthy, well-rounded puppies and setting their families up for success.

There is an incredible amount of time, money, education, planning, and HEART that goes into doing this the right way.

I will never apologize for being picky. I will never lower our standards to make things easier or cheaper. And I will never breed a dog simply because I can.

Responsible breeding means knowing when to breed—and knowing when NOT to.

Our dogs deserve that.

Our puppies deserve that.

And the families trusting us with their future family member deserve that. ❤️🐾

Responsible breeding isn’t cheap. Cutting corners is.

😂 Based on what I know about you, I’d probably say:

“Just a heads-up before you meet Stevie…”

She has approximately 47 things going on at any given moment and somehow considers this normal.

She breeds Goldendoodles, runs a massage business, is building a knife business with her kid, raises three boys, manages a house full of dogs, delivers puppies, cleans constantly, and will probably start another business before you finish reading this.

She has zero chill when she gets an idea. If she says, “I was thinking…” just know somebody is about to have a project. Usually Ben. 😂

She loves HARD. Her family, her boys, her dogs, her puppy families—if you become one of her people, you’re one of her people.

She’s outspoken, passionate, protective, and not particularly interested in doing something just because that’s how everybody else does it.

She will absolutely tell you what she thinks.

She’ll spend money on her dogs without blinking, but will proudly announce that she remodeled an entire room for $30.

And whatever you do… don’t casually mention that you’re thinking about getting a puppy.

You will leave educated on temperament, genetics, health testing, crate training, potty training, parasite prevention, grooming, and somehow already be on a waitlist. 😂

Basically: buckle up. Stevie is a lot—but she’s the fun kind of a lot. 🤣

And it’s not just Flood! Stormy is basically the female version of her Daddy Bear! 🥹

If you LOVE the look of our Bear Bear, you’re going to want to keep your eyes on these babies because they are looking more and more like him every day!

Now we just have to see if they inherit that incredible Bear Bear temperament too! 🤞🏼🐾 Because if they get his looks AND his personality… these kiddos are going to be something special. ❤️
