Our very special Dog of the Week has officially rolled the winning number and hit the jackpot with a family of his very own!

From the moment Dice arrived, everyone who met him fell in love. Whether he was dazzling crowds at adoption events, charming volunteers, or showing off what an incredibly good boy he is, Dice made it impossible not to root for him. We knew his perfect family was out there—it was just a matter of time.

And that wait was absolutely worth it.

The best part? Dice is joining HSCC alumni Rosie, and we have a feeling these two are going to become the very best of friends. We can already picture the adventures, the playtime, and the love they'll share together.

Everyone deserves a true friend.

The kind of friend who is there through life's ups and downs. The kind who greets you with a wagging tail after a hard day, makes you smile when you need it most, and loves you unconditionally. That's exactly the kind of friend Quincy is waiting to be.

Quincy was once on the euthanasia list. His future was uncertain, and his time was running out. But this incredible boy got a second chance. Since arriving at the rescue, he has touched the hearts of everyone he's met. Staff, volunteers, visitors—Quincy seems to make friends wherever he goes.

At 3 years and 4 months old and 57 pounds, Quincy is the total package. He's handsome, gentle, well-behaved, and has a heart as big as his beautiful smile. He's the kind of dog who doesn't ask for much—just a family to call his own and someone to love forever.

We've been lucky enough to be Quincy's friends while he's waited. We've watched him patiently hope that each new visitor might be "the one." We've seen how deserving he is of a home, a couch, a backyard, and a family who will never let him wonder where he belongs again.

Quincy escaped losing his life. Now he just needs someone to help him start truly living it.

🐾💤 This is what a weekend of fun and adventure looks like... 💤🐾

After a weekend filled with exploring, playing, zoomies, sniffing all the things, making new friends, and collecting lots of pets and treats, Peanut Butter, Jelly, and Kilo have officially run out of battery power. 🔋❤️

Now it's time for the most important activity of all...

😴 NAPS. 😴

There is just something so precious about sleepy puppies who played hard and loved every minute of it. One minute they're tiny tornadoes of energy, and the next they're curled up in dreamland, probably reliving all of their weekend adventures.

The only thing missing from these adorable pups' lives is a forever family to share all those future adventures—and all those cozy naps—with. ❤️🐶

Time and again, this handsome 2-year, 6-month-old, 46-pound boy has represented HSCC at events and absolutely dazzled everyone he meets. From little kids to seniors, Dice wins hearts with his charm, charisma, and friendly personality. He has a way of making everyone feel like they're his new best friend.

Simply put, Dice is the total package.

He's affectionate, well-mannered, fun-loving, and always ready for whatever adventure comes his way. Whether he's soaking up attention at an event, going for a walk, or just hanging out with his people, Dice does it all with a smile and a wagging tail.
