We have our 2 horses here and could board 2 more in our main barn.
ONLY RETIRED OR QUIET GENTLE GELDINGS!
Great choice for horses that need limited grass turnout. Low starch hay is available 24/7
I turn out on grass early AM - right now with spring grass risks I turn out 5am- 8am. The normal is 4am-8am. I want them in before sun spikes sugar in grass. In the summer THEY WANT IN due to heat and humidity. And flies.
We are a clean facility. No manure pile. No manure spread in fields- I want my horses clean and fresh and as few parasites as possible. Our horses have the best of care and are never locked in their stalls. Hay 24/7- in stall with fans in summer, in paddocks, in all weather corral area. Clear curtains and kool kurtains help keep flies out of barn.
Hay is tested and it’s low sugar first cut.
This is a great program for metabolic horses but I do turn out in grass early mornings. My metabolic horse wears a muzzle.
$1400 month. We also have 2 stalls in our “little barn” and 2 large run ins- these 4 areas also have a large individual all weather footing attached paddock. I will not put one horse there alone- so if you have 2 quiet geldings they could be in little barn or run in areas and it will be less than $1400 per month.
Stalls are 14’x15’ and individual attached paddocks 18’x72’. Stall doors always open. Even in winter. We have Clear Curtains that get frosty in winter and they help keep flies out too. Our barn is insulated. If it’s 5° outside, it’s still 20° inside which is very comfortable for a horse. Their doors are open and they’re normally outside anyway.
Poo picked all the time. Poo is hauled away.
Call or text me if you are interested. No high energy horses welcome.
We have everything- indoor arena, tack lockers- in temperature controlled tack room, restroom, hot water wash rack.
looking through a 14' x 15' stall.. I've boarded at places where stalls are 10' x 12' so I'm hoping they enjoy the additional space.. dutch door open to their own all weather paddock 18' wide x 72' long
