🐾 Vet Tech Week Spotlight: Hannah

Hannah is coming up on 7 years in ER vet med! She started as a certified assistant and recently finished school and passed the VTNE, earning her veterinary technician license.

She loves the fast-paced, unpredictable nature of ER, but says the most rewarding part is helping pets heal and seeing them go home with their families!

For Hannah, veterinary medicine is about so much more than loving animals. Behind the scenes, it takes medical expertise, teamwork, resilience, and a commitment to lifelong learning. Most importantly, it means showing up every day for the patients who depend on you.

Vet Tech Week Spotlight: Ken Woods 🐾

This Vet Tech Week, we’re celebrating Ken and the incredible impact he’s had on our patients, clients, and team. Ken’s veterinary journey began after adopting a dog and volunteering at the animal shelter, an experience that inspired him to pursue a career in animal care. That path led him to veterinary technician school, licensure as an LVT in 2004, certification as a Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner in 2006, and joining our team at PetOne Veterinary, Sumner Hospital in 2008.

For nearly two decades, Ken has helped pets regain strength, confidence, and mobility through rehabilitation. One of the most rewarding parts of his work is seeing dogs, cats, and other beloved pets get back to doing what they do best: being themselves.

Something Ken reminds us of every day is just how incredible animals are. Through rehabilitation, pets learn new exercises, adapt to challenges, and often surprise us with their intelligence, determination, and resilience.
