Sarah Baker fell in love with agility as soon as she tried it in 2010 and has been teaching and running it ever since. Her first agility dog, Rice the Labrador won AKC Preferred Nationals and earned several MACHs and PACHs. Her 2nd agility dog, Dillon the Rottie mix was the top AKC mix breed in 2014 and earned 8 MACHs! Her 3rd dog, Hops the border collie won AKC Nationals 3 times, was a 2X AKC World Team member and 2X EO team member. Her 4th dog, Skeptic the working cocker spaniel, placed 2nd and won a spot on the team at EO team tryouts at age 2! Her 5th agility dog is Sapporo the border collie puppy, working hard at being cute and playing everywhere! The first spotlighted trainer is Heather!

Heather has been training dogs her whole life and started agility in 2000. She has trained and competed with a German Shepherd, Golden Retrievers and Border Collies. Her dogs have earned MACHs, won Regional Championships, been National Finalists and attended World Team Tryouts. Heather is even more proud of her student's accomplishments than she is of her own. Whether it's qualifying for and attending Nationals, Breed Nationals, and the Invitational, or racking up multiple MACHs and PACHs, or simply having a blast with their dog. Heather believes that there is no "one size fits all" for agility training, and helps her students to learn what works best for their individual dogs. An emphasis is placed on trained skills, so that the dog knows exactly what is expected out of them and develops strong obstacle commitment, allowing the handler to stay ahead on course.

Hi friends! We are so sorry to let you know that we will be permanently closing January 1st. Sumner veterinary hospital will not be offering training classes as originally planned. We currently still have preschool classes, drop in nose work, drop in conformation, drop in rally. Agility instructors may have space for drop ins in classes and for private lessons. Management will make fb posts over the next several weeks highlighting our trainers businesss and others that we want to support. Thank you everyone!
