We’re happy to share a brief update regarding the horse involved in the recent I-95 accident.

She is doing well and has been discharged from our care to a nearby farm, where she will continue her recovery.

We are grateful to everyone who assisted with her rescue and care, and especially to the many people who worked together to help her through a difficult situation. ❤️‍🩹🐴

When You’re an Equine Veterinarian, You Never Quite Know What the Day Will Bring.
Some days it’s a routine appointment. Other days, the call comes from the side of an interstate. It’s a unique profession—and one that asks you to be ready to help wherever the horses need you.

he New York-bred filly was trapped inside the overturned horse van before firefighters cut through the trailer to free her; she is now stable under veterinary care.
