🐾 PATIENT HIGHLIGHT: SCARLETT! 🐾💗
If you’ve ever met Scarlett, you know she’s one special girl.
In 2020, Scarlett was found roaming the streets of downtown Greer. She was heartworm positive, and she had scars down her back from someone throwing an unknown liquid on her. 💔
But despite everything she’s been through… Scarlett LOVES life. ❤️
She has never met a stranger, LOVES going to the park, and as long as she gets to be part of the action, she’s a happy girl! 🐶🌳
Recently, our very own vet assistant’s sweet girl suffered a knee injury. 🐾 So we called in the big guns!
👨⚕️ Dr. Chris Hill, our traveling board-certified surgeon, came to VCA Westbury to perform Scarlett’s knee repair.
Thanks to Dr. Hill and the amazing care she received, Scarlett is on her way to a brand-new knee and a brand-new chapter!
By the end of September/October, we’re hoping this girl will be BACK AT THE PARK, doing what she loves most! 🌳🐕
Scarlett’s story is such a beautiful reminder that even after a difficult start, there can still be so much love, happiness, and adventure ahead. 💗
Get better soon, Miss Scarlett! We can’t wait to see you running, playing, and enjoying that park again! 🐾❤️
