Just send us your Aussies, here they have 5 acres to train on and are surrounded by fields, while having a professionally constructed kennel facility to rest in inbetween training sessions. ASTI! Dog Ops graduate ready to go anywhere, anytime. A beautiful Cane Corso we had the pleasure of training. Just because you have a big powerful dog does NOT mean you need to seclude them. Dogs like Asti are ambassadors of their breed, and starting young with this level of training ensures she leaves everyone pleasantly surprised at how such a powerful dog can have so much control in the face of distractions.

A knock on the door does NOT have to trigger bad behavior, but it most likely will unless we teach an alternative. The alternative I prefer is a knock on the door commands the dog or dog(s) to go to their place bed/crate. This replaces the predictably frustrating barking, growling, and uncontrollable excitement. It provides clarity, and routine to everday events in my clients households. This adds struture to one of the most challenging issues most dog owners deal with, simply having guests over to their house. This also sets the stage for obedience, and calm behavior to prevail over impulsive undesirable behavior. This requires continued training, and this is a simple video demonstrating the beginning stages of this training.
