With opening day tomorrow, it feels like a good time to share a quick update from Creekside.
First, thank you to everyone who continues to trust us with your trophies and our operation. Over the years, that support has given us the opportunity to work on species from all over the country, continue growing the business, and most recently move into a much larger shop that gives us more room to grow and better serve our customers.
The move was a big step forward, but it also came with some growing pains. Before relocating, we were making great progress on our turnaround times. Packing up an entire taxidermy operation, moving it, and getting everything established again took more time away from production than we anticipated. We have some ground to make up once again, but every week more work is making its way through the shop and out the door. Our goal remains the same - keep things moving efficiently without sacrificing the quality of the finished piece.
With a new season beginning, Creekside is open and ready for new work. Just as importantly, we remain fully committed to completing the work already entrusted to us from last season.
We’re also excited to officially welcome Brody to the Creekside crew! He’ll be helping with fall intake and stepping in throughout the shop wherever another set of hands can help keep work moving. Adding another person to the team is another exciting step for Creekside, and we’re looking forward to having him here. Doug is still with us as well, doing a great job and continuing to grow right alongside the shop.
The extra space and added help are investments in where Creekside is headed, and we’re excited about what they’ll allow us to do moving forward.
Here’s to the 2026–2027 hunting season. We hope everyone has a safe and successful year, and we can’t wait to see what comes through the doors.
