🎓🐾 Winifred has graduated! 🐾🎓
We’re so excited to celebrate Winifred as she graduated from the Activate Essentials Program today! This sweet girl has made some incredible progress, especially when it comes to building confidence in new environments. She may be a little cowboy Corgi at heart, but she’s proven that she’s ready to take on new experiences with confidence—and plenty of s***k! 🤠🐶

Winifred also absolutely loves making new friends! She brings her fun-loving personality wherever she goes and is always ready to meet someone new. We loves watching her confidence grow while seeing her personality shine through in every new experience.

Now this little adventurer went home reunite with her Corgi brother, Walker, who is also an Activate Canine graduate! We can’t wait to hear about all the adventures ahead, especially the camping trips! 🏕️🐾

Congratulations, Winifred! We’re so proud of how far you’ve come, and we know there are plenty of exciting adventures waiting for you! ❤️

🐾 Welcome, Romeo, Bella, Frank, Rusty, Archie, & Kovu! 🐾
We’re so excited to welcome these four newcomers to the Activate Canine training programs! Each pup is working on their own unique set of skills, but they all have one thing in common—they’re showing up, working hard, and making great progress! 🎉

From building confidence to learning new behaviors and practicing skills that will carry over into their homes, these pups are off to a fantastic start. We love getting to know each dog as an individual and helping them develop the tools they need to succeed in everyday life with their families.

Keep up the great work, pups—we’re so excited to see where your training journey takes you! 🐶💪❤️

🎓🐾 Zelda is officially a graduate! 🐾🎓
With graduation just a couple of days away, we couldn’t be more proud of this sweet girl and all the progress she has made! And if there’s one thing we’ve learned about Zelda, it’s that this girl LOVES her treats! 😂

Throughout her training, we’ve focused heavily on engagement—an incredibly important skill that helps dogs learn to stay connected with their handlers, even when the world around them gets a little more exciting. Zelda has worked hard on learning to focus on us, make good choices, and stay engaged despite distractions.

One of our favorite parts of training is discovering each dog’s unique personality, quirks, and motivations. Every pup has something that makes them tick, and finding that key can make all the difference in their learning journey. For Zelda, well… we found the way to her heart! ❤️

Soon, Zelda will be heading home to her brother, Rocky, who is also an Activate Canine graduate! We absolutely love getting to see our graduates reunite with their families, and we can’t wait to watch Zelda and Rocky continue their journey together.

Congratulations, Zelda! We’re so proud of you and can’t wait to see what your next chapter holds! 🎓🐶💛

Ray is all about obstacles, adventure, and getting to work! This s***ky mix has one little weakness—keeping his nose off the ground! That hound side of him just can’t resist following a good scent. 🐾
Today, Ray headed out on an outing to work on barking at people, but we discovered something even more exciting: this guy LOVES a good obstacle! New challenges? Different surfaces? Interesting environments? Ray says, “Bring it on!” 💪🐶

One of the best parts of training is getting to know each dog’s unique personality and discovering what makes them tick. We love exposing our pups to new experiences, watching their confidence grow, and finding the activities that truly make them shine. Ray definitely found his calling today! ❤️

Zelda and Winifred put their stationary skills to work at Ace Hardware today! These fun-loving girls had a fantastic time exploring a new environment while practicing their place and down commands and building confidence around new sounds, sights, and distractions. They did a great job conquering new challenges and making learning fun along the way 🐾

Meet Buddy 🐾
Buddy is a wonderful, well-trained dog looking for a loving forever home. He was personally trained by us and has been trained for service dog work. He is a calm, well-mannered companion who does exceptionally well in a variety of environments.
Buddy is:

Excellent in public and comfortable in different settings
Well-behaved in the home
Wonderful with people
Service-dog trained
Gentle, affectionate, and eager to be around his people
One of Buddy’s favorite things is giving gentle hugs. He also loves going on golf cart rides and enjoying leisurely walks with his people.
Buddy has so much love to give and would thrive with someone who will appreciate his training, gentle nature, and affectionate personality. We are looking for a responsible, loving home that will give Buddy the time, attention, and lifelong commitment he deserves.

If you think Buddy might be the right addition to your family, please reach out to learn more about him and his rehoming process.

🎓🐾 Congratulations to Rubi & Loki on graduating! 🐾🎓
Rubi and Loki have worked so hard and made wonderful progress throughout their training. They’ve developed a much better understanding of impulse control, obedience, and appropriate behavior in public.

One of their biggest accomplishments has been learning to remain calm and focused around other dogs while out on walks, rather than reacting to them. They’ve both come such a long way in building confidence, self-control, and good manners.

We’re so proud of everything they’ve accomplished and excited to see them continue putting their skills into practice! 💙🐾

Congratulations, Rubi & Loki! You both earned those graduation caps! 🎓

🐾 It’s safe to say these pups LOVE the Place command! 🐾
“Place” may look like a simple stationary command, but it’s actually a powerful tool for teaching dogs how to pause, self-regulate, and practice self-control.

Through the Place command, our dogs learn how to settle their bodies and minds, especially when they’re feeling excited, overstimulated, or overwhelmed. It gives them a clear job to focus on while helping them learn that they don’t always have to be in the middle of everything. 😆

And let’s be honest… Place is pretty handy at home, too!

🍽️ Eating dinner without a set of puppy eyes staring into your soul? Place.
🏠 Have company over and want your dog to settle? Place.
🚪 Doorbell ringing and excitement levels rising? Place.
🛋️ Need a little calm time? You guessed it — Place!

It’s not about keeping your dog out of the fun. It’s about teaching them how to calmly be part of it. 🐶💙

These pups are showing us that learning to relax is just as important as learning to listen!

🐾 Loki is taking his training to the streets! 🐾
This weekend we worked on two big things: environmental exposure and reactivity around other dogs. Downtown Summerville is the perfect classroom—busy sidewalks, new sights and sounds, people, dogs, and plenty of distractions to work through. Plus we love the festivals and markets downtown!

We love getting out and about in town, especially when there’s an event happening! 🎉 These real-world experiences give our dogs the opportunity to practice staying calm, focused, and confident in the middle of everyday life.

Loki is learning that seeing another dog doesn’t have to mean reacting. It’s all about creating positive experiences, building better choices, and taking those skills wherever life takes us. 💪🐶

We’ll see you around town! ❤️
