It has taken me 1 1/2 months to finally be able to post about having to say good bye to my much loved and namesake of the business, Punkin. She was mine and my husband Mikeβs first dog together. When we first got her she looked like a Guinea pig and the first month she was the pup with many names until I got Mike to agree that her name was Punkin. She went everywhere with us. Weekend shift changes at Waffle House sitting in the a/c in the truck. Loving her chunked ham with the associates putting in more than I paid for, they shall forever remain nameless except to us. She would ride with me in my kayak when we went to the Hatchery, getting out with us on the beach and shores. She went with us to the mountains, quickly adapting to the ride and loving her walks around the Cabins at Seven Foxes grounds. There were many adventures at home and away. We miss her dearly but will always have those memories and pictures to remind us how much she loved being with us as much as we loved being with her. She is resting easy and I pray restored to her young vibrant self before age became an issue.
Love and hug your fur babies every day and they will reward you with unconditional love.
Good bye Punkin, until we meet again.
