PSA FOR ALL CLIENTS.

The amount of no call no shows,late cancellations,late rescheduled appointments is beginning to get out of hand. We send out 48hr reminders for EACH dog. We do this for a reason. It can take 24-48 to fill your spot depending on size and breed of dog. Groomers do not make hourly pay. They get paid commission,meaning if people don’t show or late cancel. Your groomer DOES NOT GET PAID. You expect us to make sure your on our books,that we’re on time and that we don’t change your appointment; we expect the same in return.

🚨 GROOMERS’ TIME IS MONEY, TOO! 🚨

We understand that emergencies happen, and life can throw curveballs. But repeatedly forgetting appointments, canceling at the last minute, or simply NOT SHOWING UP hurts small businesses more than you realize. 💔

That empty appointment could have gone to another furry client waiting to get pampered! 🐶🛁

📣 PLEASE RESPECT OUR TIME THE WAY WE RESPECT YOURS!

🐾 No-call, no-shows are NOT okay.

The best thing you can do is being honest with your groomer and vet. It’s for the best interest in your babies ❤️❤️

No one knows an older dog quite like the person who lives with them. You notice if the stairs take longer, if getting up is harder after a nap, if the car ride feels tiring, or if a once-easy touch now makes them pull away.

Those details matter at grooming appointments. They can help your groomer think ahead about pacing, handling, support, and which parts of the groom are truly most important that day. A dog may have a good morning and a harder afternoon; a quick update at drop-off is never 'too much information.'

If your dog has new pain, weakness, swelling, a sudden change in behavior, or anything that worries you, start with your veterinarian. Your groomer can notice and document changes, but your veterinary team is the right place for medical guidance.

Your careful attention is not being fussy. It is one of the best tools your aging dog has.
