As we go into our eighth year of owning the farm, man have we done some things! Raised show rabbits for years, had more animals than I can count, from prairie dogs and ferrets, to birds, chickens, goats, pigs and sheep. We’ve driven through whole states to bring animals to the farm and over the years we’ve rescued, raised and watched so many thrive. Though we have slowed down drastically since we became dads, we still have animals living in retirement and enjoying life. BUT, 7.5 years after planting two pear trees, losing one to our old goat Hawk, one has survived against all odds and, y’all, WE GREW A PEAR 👏👏 it’s the little things.

Sunday morning shenanigans, courtesy of Bev. Sneaking to eat the bird food, after telling her not to, turning around and she is running across the driveway again, while “thinking” she is invisible. Don’t be like Bev. 😂
