This sure is true.

This sure is true.

💔🐴 There is a particular kind of heartbreak that only comes from losing a horse who changed your life.

They were never “just a horse.”

They were there through the good days and the difficult ones. They listened without judgement, carried us when we felt unable to keep going and somehow understood emotions we could never put into words.

We remember the sound of their hooves, the warmth of their breath and the quiet moments spent together when nothing else in the world seemed to matter.

Then one day, the horse who gave us so many beautiful memories becomes a memory themselves.

The stable may fall silent, but the love they gave us never truly leaves. It remains in every photograph, every familiar path and every small reminder of the life we shared.

If you have ever loved and lost a horse, you will understand. They may leave our side, but they never leave our hearts. ❤️

What was the name of the horse you will never forget?
